About Pragya

Pragya (प्रज्ञा) is a Sanskrit word meaning supreme wisdom — not by memorizing facts, but by understanding them deeply.

Why We Started

Every major AI company is racing to scale — more parameters, more GPUs, more data. But the scientists who built these systems quietly acknowledge: this path does not lead to intelligence.

The current architecture of LLMs will not get us to general intelligence. It was not designed to. It was designed to predict the next token — and the world has confused prediction with understanding.

Pragya was founded on a different premise: intelligence is not an emergent property of scale. It is an emergent property of the right architecture. We started from "How brain works?" — inspired by the only intelligence we know: the human brain.

"Wisdom isn't brute-forcing data to memorize an answer — it's understanding the fundamental logic beneath it."
